What is it?
Intravenous (IV) therapy is a minimally invasive process of administering fluids directly into a vein as a therapeutic treatment. We provide it in the form of simple IV hydration therapy which is composed of fluids only as well as IV nutritional therapy which adds vitamins, nutrients, and amino acids to the fluid.
How long does it take for an IV?
In general, for most patients it takes 30-35 minutes from start to finish. Depending on the amount of fluids you receive or any special treatments, your visit with us may take longer.
How often can I take an IV?
Depending on the reason, some patients get an IV up to twice a week. Others do weekly, biweekly, or monthly treatments. We recommend getting an IV when you feel you need it to get better and get back to your normal, productive self.
Who can get an IV?
Almost anyone. We do not treat minors below the age of 18 or adults above the age of 65. Patients with certain medical conditions may not be appropriate for our treatment.
- Guaranteed hydration
- 100% absorption of vitamins
- Immediate delivery
- Fast Acting
- Cumulative effects
The main advantage is that nutrients completely bypass the digestive system, effectively ensuring 100% absorption. Typically vitamins and minerals are given orally and must be naturally processed by the stomach, liver, and intestines. But only 8-10% of what you consume gets to the tissues that need it the most.
